Jani Master Case – Bail Updates: Indian choreographer Jani Master got bail today, which is on Friday, 25/10/2024, from a Telangana High Court; he is out from Chanchalguda jail, which is in Hyderabad. Earlier, he approached Rangareddy district court for bail, but the request was cancelled. Again, he applied for a petition at the High Court. Upon hearing the case, the Telangana High Court granted conditional bail to Jani Master (Shaik Jani Basha).
Jani Master (42) is accused of sexually harassing her assistant, Shrasti Verma (21). Jani Basha was arrested in the case of POSCO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences). Shrasti stated that Basha started assaulting her when she was a minor, 16 years old.
As per the police reports, it came to know that Jani’s Master participated in physical relationship her multiple times in six years, he also pressured Shrasti to convert her religion and marry him. Due to financial issues, the survivor Shrasti continued working at Jani Master as a dance assistant; further, she revealed the truth about sexual harassment.
Jani was arrested on September 19, 2024, in Goa. He was taken back to Hyderabad for further investigation. In the police interrogation, Jani confessed to sexual assault with her assistant.
Jani Master case has been charged under these sections: 376(2) (punishment for sexual assault), 506 (criminal intimidation), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), (Pocso) Act.
After spending 36 days in Chanchalguda prison, he is out on conditional bail. In the image below, you can see he is in his car wearing a Jana Sena Party red towel cloth.
It doesn’t directly mean that it’s a Jana Sena cloth or any logo of the party on that red cloth, but the red colour towel is a symbol of the Jana Sena party in 2 Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
In October, the first week, he got interim bail to receive a national award, but the national award of Jani Master was suspended due to the Sexual harassment case.
Jani Master was going to choreograph a song in Pushpa 2 – The Rule, but due to this case, Pushpa 2 creators chose another choreographer for the song. He was also suspended from the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and a workers’ union, and he was also suspended from the political party Jana Sena due to this case.
After Out of Jail, Jani master posted one video of his choreographed song “hare ram, hare ram” from the Bollywood movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Kartik Aryan; it’s a BTS reel of that song choreographing.
In the caption, he mentioned, “BTS of #BhoolBhulaiyaaTitleTrack Thank you for the Trending response to my #SpookySlide ft.@kartikaaryan”.
Basha Master choreographed the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 title track, and the hook steps of the song are awesome. Which is trending on social media; he shared thank you with all and tagged Kartik Aryan in his Instagram post.
